Riverton murder suspect nabbed in Montana

A man wanted for a murder last month in Riverton, Wyoming has been arrested in Billings.

Sterling Fry Wolfname, 26, is wanted on three counts of murder, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and battery and felony restraint.

The murder victim, Ernest Jenkins was found dead in the early morning hours of July 30th in Riverton and investigators believe he was killed the previous night.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Dan Orr tells Q2 Montana's News Station that Wolfname was spotted at the Montana Rescue Mission at around 6:45 on Tuesday evening.

Orr is with the Montana Violent Offenders Task Force, and says that deputies were looking into a different case when they recognized Wolfname and took him into custody.

Wolfname is being held in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility on a $1 million bond.

Two other suspects have already been charged in connection with the case.
