Two time state Champion Wheatland has seven All State A Baseball selections this year. All State Lobos include Taylor Shepard, Eric Heatherly, David Castle, Travis Geile, Blake Vaughn, Kyle Lauck, and Jake Montoya. Wheatland defeated Riverton for a second straight year to capture their second straight A title in Cheyenne. The Lobos are currently 1-1 at the Northwest Regional in Anacortes, Washington.
Other All State picks include Trevor Wilson and Matt Raymond of Riverton. Wilson is a three time selection. He was All State in AA as a 16 year old and then twice All State in A ball. Raymond struck out 101 batters in around 55 innings this summer. Both Wilson and Raymond will play for Miles City Community College next year.
Powell netted a trio of All Staters. Gianlucca Giarrizzo, Scotty Jameson, and Grant Geiser make the A list for a second straight year. Giarrizzo and Jameson batted over .500 for the season for the Pioneers this year.

The All State lists are voted on by the coaches of Wyoming A Legion Baseball. Each will receive a plaque for their recognition.
