Riverton will again take two All Star teams to State competition in Torrington in July. The 11 and 12 year old team is coached by John Souza while the 9-10 year olds are coached by Mark Reinig. Teams compete against the rest of the state starting July 21st and continuing through Saturday the 25th.
11-12 Year Old All Stars
Andrea Souza, Chris Quayle, Gavin Wilson, Dillon Geis, Brandon Fullerton, Lars Becker, Logan Hartbank, Ty Woodward, Peyton Ferris, Josh Parker, Nathan Hatfield, Josh Oaks, and Ryan Axthelm. MGR John Souza.
9-10 Year Old All Stars
Zacharee Tenlen, Steven Reinig, Baily Myers, Baylor Beers, Alexander Chavis, Brady Fullerton, David Gard, Teron Doebele, Jake Manasco, Devin Matsen, TJ Paulsen, Devin Rottweiler, and Brayden Draper. MGR mark Reinig.
The Rockies won the City Championship beating the Rangers 4 to 1. Andrea Souza got the win on the mound lasting into the fifth inning allowing one run on just two hits.
