SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - The San Francisco 49ers have signed offensive tackle Barry Sims, the NFL team said on Thursday.
Sims, 33, had been with the Oakland Raiders from 1999 until February this year when he was released.
At the Raiders he played at both guard and tackle, featuring in 119 games during his NFL career, mainly at left tackle.
Last season, Sims started all 16 games at left tackle for the Raiders.
