Rustlers Dominate CRMR
CWC Rodeo

After winning 8 of the 10 rodeos in the Central Rocky Mountain Circuit, the Central Wyoming College Rustlers have won another regional title. The Rustler men nearly outscored the second and third place teams combined in racking up over 6300 points. Second was Wyoming at 3420 and Lamar just ten points behind the Cowboys in Third.

The Rustlers won their 8th rodeo of the season taking first at the Wyoming Rodeo in Laramie. Seth Glause finished second in the All Round but had enough points to win the season All Around title. Glause was third in the saddle broncs and 2nd in the bull riding.

Blaze Hamaker was second in the saddle broncs while Bryan Mitchell split first in the bareback.

The Ladies finished second to UW who won 9 of the 10 rodoes. Annie Joanette and Chelsea Moore went 2 and 3 in the barrels. Joanette was then 6th in the goats and third in the all around for the weekend.

Both CWC teams will go to nationals as the Rustlers win their 7th regional team title in the last 12 years and the ladies finished second.

Season leaders in their events saw Glause win the All Around with Ty Hamaker fifth. Chelsea Moore was fifth in the ladies all around with Jessica Picchietti sixth.

Glause won the saddle broncs with Blaze Hamaker second. Bryan Mitchell rode his was to second in the bareback standings. Ty Hamaker won the bull riding with Glause a close second.

For the ladies, Kori Jorgensen was second in the breakaway with Moore placing 9th in the barrels and fifth in the goat tying.

The College National Finals Rodeo will be in Casper next month.
